Buckley Councillors are celebrating 3 years of their innovative Cafe Surgery which is based in Costa Coffee in Buckley Precinct. This allows constituents to pop in and join councillors to bring up issues and concerns while out supporting their town centre.
Deputy Mayor of Buckley, Cllr Vivienne Blondek, said “the Cafe Surgery has proved to be an asset for residents who want that face to face contact with their Town Councillors. I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved over the last few years”.
Advice surgeries are helpful to residents as they can just pop in and bring up smaller issues which may not need one to one advice or they can bring up more serious issues with several councillors all at once which provides a greater impact and direct contact by the residents, offering more avenues to make sure Buckley stays as the great town it is.
